Who is Herrick Blanchfield

A merchant from a far off city, trapped in Elta when "The Seizure" occured.  Herrick sold wares locally and married the local healer. Soon a calling for politics made him run for mayor. The current mayor, Locke, was a puppet of the tower. Herrick beat him easily in the election and Locke disappeared overnight. Some say into the Delerium Forest. 

The Tower never forgave Herrick for winning. Soon the knights started dealing out the Tower's rule heavy handed and Herrick may be the only voice protecting the townspeople.
